Worm composting has become very popular among many people these days. People have woken up to the fact that chemical fertilizers can cause plenty of health hazards and they found that by using worm composts they can avoid all these health problems. Earthworms which are a gift of God have been around for ages since the creation of earth.

These creatures have been converting all the waste products in the ground into luscious rich nutritious fertilizers for the plants and trees. This in turn helps the plant to get all the best nutrients it wanted and to bring forth fruits and vegetables which are very tasty and much bigger in size.

Breeding worms has become a hobby for many enthusiasts and also a lucrative home business. It is cost effective and one gets plenty of natural fertilizer right at home and also as a by product there is the worm tea.

Worm tea is a thick liquid which collects at the bottom of the worm composting bin. This concentrated liquid is very useful as it helps to enhance the fertility of the soil and is also compost accelerator.

When you add distilled water to the worm castings left behind by the worms, you get this worm tea and when you spray it over plants and vegetables they are greatly nourished by it. By using worm tea you not only get a better soil but also better plants and chemical free environment.

The liquid worm tea is odourless and is used as an organic food for plants. It has been proven that spraying worm tea on fruit trees which are affected by leaf curls have been effective to get rid of the problem. It is also a cure for tomato blight.

Once you have your worm composting bin, you will find that you are able to get your very own worm tea at the bottom of your worm bin and using the small tap which is fixed to your bin you can collect the worm tea in a container of your choice.

For those people who do not want to breed any worms at home then they can always buy worm tea for their plants from friends or from the shops selling natural organic fertilizer.
